Tyler Roberts

Westminster College
Laboratory Technician and Research Assistant
Salt Lake City, UT
Tyler Roberts’ science passion banks on the things we cannot see. It’s not the big picture it is the small pieces of the bio systems that are being affected by climate change that drew Tyler’s attention to Silver Lake. Through his concern about preserving the Wasatch Front Water, Tyler was instrumental in launching the first ecological study of understudied mountain lakes in Utah. Tyler has served in the Science Department at Westminster as a Laboratory Technician and Research Assistant under Robyn Hyde. This work has aided him in his pursuit of what lies below the surface of these pristine lakes and the surface of knowledge. Tyler has been studying in the Biology Undergraduate Program at Westminster College for the last three years. Tyler Intends to pursue an advanced degree in Conservation Ecology with an emphasis in Aquatic Systems.
